M&A Analyst - Energy, Power & Infrastructure

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; in-office role. Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base salary: $125,000 annually, plus incentive compensation based on company, business, and/or individual performance.

What you will do

• Support client engagements throughout the M&A process.
• Work closely with clients and senior bankers as a representative of the firm.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends and their business impact.
• Apply Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting.
• Review and quality-check deliverables for accuracy before submission.
• Contribute to recruiting initiatives, mentorship programs, and business development efforts.

Requirements

• Ability to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution, either completed or in progress.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Working understanding of how the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet connect.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and teamwork skills.
