Lead Financial Analyst (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY; must currently reside in the New York City Metro area

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually, bonus eligible

What you will do

• Analyze revenue, sales, expenses, margins, profitability, volumes, and key operational drivers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting with commentary on forecasts, plans, prior-year results, and trends.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, scenario planning, business cases, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product, Accounting, Corporate FP&A, and other finance teams to validate assumptions and align financial outlooks.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and materials for business reviews, strategic decisions, and leadership requests.
• Improve and standardize FP&A processes, reporting automation, data quality, and analytical tools.

Requirements

• Current residence in the New York City Metro area is required.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, decision support, or related analytical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is required; experience with TM1, Oracle, or Power BI is preferred.
