Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with occasional travel

Salary: $143,487.14–$197,294.82 per year, plus annual incentive pay

What you will do

• Lead requirements engineering, systems integration, verification and validation, and model-based systems engineering activities.
• Oversee complex system and decision analyses, technical planning, and risk management.
• Manage major project deliverables and support architecture, design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Influence project direction through technical leadership, communication, and collaboration.
• Mentor and guide systems engineering team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Expert proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools and proven systems engineering leadership experience.
• Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation and allocation, systems design, integration, technical risk management, and V&V principles.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Current and active Secret U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time operating systems, embedded systems, Jama, Cameo, and mechanical design principles.
• INCOSE or CSEP certification and aerospace or defense industry experience.
• Experience leading baseline definition, maturation, trade studies, and technical performance measurement tracking.
• Agile methodology experience or Scrum Master certification.
