Transportation Supervisor

Location: Perryville, Maryland, United States

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

hirify.global is a worldwide healthcare organization offering transportation and fleet operations through its MedTrans business.

What you will do

• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the assigned MedTrans fleet.
• Optimize daily routes and activities using branch workloads, fleet capacity, and customer order information.
• Schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers.
• Ensure drivers receive required training and conduct meetings in line with DOT and company policies.
• Maintain fleet equipment according to the MedTrans vehicle maintenance policy.
• Lead daily employee activities, assign work, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance on complex issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing and dispatching drivers and using routing software.
• At least 2 years of experience coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• Intermediate knowledge of transportation costing and motor carrier operations.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs, and stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days per week.
