(USA) Logistics Load Manager (Transportation)

Location: Onsite at the Walmart Regional Operations Center, 5805 SW Regional Airport Road, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Dispatch drivers to meet inbound and outbound load delivery schedules.
• Follow dispatch procedures and Department of Transportation Hours of Service regulations.
• Maintain logistics quality and safety standards through associate training, compliance monitoring, and procedure management.
• Monitor area productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Implement business plans by managing staffing, scheduling, workload coordination, and duty assignments.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or one year of Walmart Logistics experience, or one year of transportation experience.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates.
• Ability to coordinate staffing, scheduling, workloads, quality, and safety requirements.
• Ability to follow logistics policies, company procedures, and transportation regulations.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience with Walmart Dispatch or Walmart Logistics Information Systems, including GLS, TMS, Map Point, MapQuest, On Board Computer Systems, or VDS.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
