Maintenance Mechanic (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Complete maintenance requests through the maintenance ticket system and diagnose mechanical breakdowns.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, replace, adjust, lubricate, and clean mechanical components.
• Maintain electric motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, control wiring, conveyor systems, HVAC systems, and production equipment.
• Set up and operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to make or repair parts.
• Repair electrical equipment and perform general building maintenance, including painting, filter and light-bulb replacement, and exterior safety checks.
• Perform preventive maintenance, maintain records, initiate purchase orders, and manage after-hours building access as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of maintenance facility experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent related experience and training.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear during work activities.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance.
