Manufacturing Engineering Co-op (June - December 2027)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support manufacturing project management activities and production-area or equipment moves.
• Learn manufacturing processes and recommend solutions for system and process improvement.
• Resolve quality issues affecting products and manufacturing methods.
• Optimize process-center layouts and designs with operators, team leaders, and value stream planners, including material flow and line balancing.
• Measure manufacturing cycle times to improve routings and labor standards.
• Apply lean tools in process reviews, standardized work, Future State Plans, and cross-functional Kaizen events.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, with graduation expected between May 2028 and May 2029.
• At least one semester of SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience.
• Previous work or internship experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and draw accurate conclusions.
• Project management, organizational, personal computer, Microsoft Office, and CAD skills.
