Supervisor, Field Operations (Minerals Trade)

What you will do

• Supervise and schedule Field Services Technicians at a Minerals Trade site.
• Coordinate the sampling, receipt, identification, preparation, and analysis of client samples from vessels.
• Train, coach, motivate, and guide employees while monitoring daily work and performance.
• Serve as the primary field contact for customers and coordinate with Branch and Operations Managers.
• Provide technical support, resolve customer complaints, and address operational issues.
• Ensure technicians have the information, resources, and materials needed to work safely and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in industrial or field settings.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
• TWIC card required.
• Ability to perform field-based duties and supervise a team of technicians.

Nice to have

• Experience with bulk minerals cargo.
• Preparation or laboratory experience.
