Sample Storage Support Specialist (Environment Testing)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite role. Regular schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Compensation: $17.75–$19.53 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Interpret client sample requirements and enter sample information into computer systems.
• Coordinate client projects between project managers and sample registration.
• Deliver rush samples to the appropriate technical centers.
• Maintain client files, including quotes, purchase orders, bottle orders, and sample activity records.
• Receive calls, unpack sample kits and coolers, label samples, and file documentation.
• Follow GMP/GLP standards, standard operating procedures, and laboratory safety requirements while assisting with departmental training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills, including data entry, and the ability to retain detailed technical information.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and work productively during high sample volumes.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and with a team.

• At least one year of related laboratory experience.
