Associate Commercial Lab Engineer (Industrial Coating)

Location: Geleen, Netherlands; occasional travel within Europe may be required.

What you will do

• Support customer tests and demonstrations in the European demonstration center under supervision.
• Prepare, set up, operate, and clean laboratory equipment for defined test scenarios.
• Follow safety procedures and laboratory standards for equipment, materials, hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems.
• Document test conditions, observations, results, equipment settings, and technical details.
• Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, supply tracking, and equipment-readiness checks.
• Conduct basic training sessions and help prepare test summaries, customer-facing information, and internal updates.

Requirements

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent technical training in engineering, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, service, engineering, or customer-support environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to document technical information accurately and consistently.
• Good communication, collaboration, analytical, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• English language skills are required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to automation, electrical systems, robot programming, or powder finishing applications.
• German or another European language.
