Field Service Representative (Gas Turbine Installations)

Location: Sassenheim, South Holland, Netherlands; field-based work at customer locations with approximately 75% travel

Base minimum pay: €48,797 per year

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on industrial turbine and package systems.
• Replace filters, faulty parts, turbines, gearboxes, generators, and other major components during scheduled or corrective maintenance.
• Verify mechanical, electrical, and control-system operation, including borescope inspections.
• Document equipment condition and service activities with photographs, digital tools, and accurate maintenance reports.
• Work independently or within multidisciplinary field teams while following customer-site safety rules and company procedures.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 emergency on-call schedule and provide remote monitoring and troubleshooting support.

Requirements

• Vocational education, technical apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or industrial maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and electrical safety, with good mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret maintenance procedures and technical documentation and use standard diagnostic tools.
• Basic knowledge of turbine control systems, software applications, and PLC functionality.
• Confident use of Windows computers and enterprise software, with the ability to create accurate service reports.
• Spoken and written English proficiency; ability to travel extensively, work extended days, and respond to occasional emergency call-outs.
