Manufacturing Engineer (Biotech)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, eliminating waste, and improving operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support to production operations by troubleshooting process issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing changes by establishing robust processes, validating production readiness, and ensuring successful implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering within a production environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with manufacturing systems and engineering tools, including ERP/CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems with hands-on problem-solving experience.
• Experience with software development and database programming.
• Experience with PLC programming.
