TL;DR
Business Systems Analyst I (Aerospace): Improving NPI, manufacturing, and supply-chain processes for high-reliability satellite and aerospace electronics with an accent on process analysis, documentation, and cross-functional industrialization. Focus on identifying workflow gaps, designing process improvements, analyzing data with SQL, and integrating automation with business systems.

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Salary: $83,000–$99,000 per year

Develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms, combining rigorous aerospace requirements with the scale of commercial electronics.

What you will do

  • Lead process-improvement workstreams supporting new product introduction, manufacturing, and supply chain.
  • Interview stakeholders, conduct research, analyze current workflows, and identify process gaps.
  • Use SQL and other analytical methods to identify issues, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
  • Create process documentation and process maps, then redesign workflows to improve efficiency and stakeholder experience.
  • Train internal users, external technical teams, and leaders on dashboards, APIs, and tools, including troubleshooting.
  • Improve data capture, define front-end requirements, and collaborate with software development teams on data-table structures and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 0–2 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience with change management, EIA-649, nonconformance documentation, root cause analysis, corrective action systems, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with cost analysis, supplier management, and configuration management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must meet U.S. space-technology export-control eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience in aerospace or another high-reliability industry.
  • Proficiency with PLM, ERP, AS9100, ISO 9001, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority tasks in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-analysis, facilitation, and consultative skills.
