Application Support Analyst

Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance three days per week at the St. Petersburg corporate headquarters

What you will do

• Serve as the escalation point for unresolved application issues from first-level support.
• Partner with software development teams to triage, analyze, and resolve complex application incidents.
• Perform technical research and advanced diagnostics using logs, internal applications, debugging tools, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Reproduce issues in test environments, validate functionality, and identify workarounds or interim solutions.
• Document investigations, technical findings, permanent solutions, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in incident reviews and retrospectives, providing technical recommendations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a technical or application support environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills, including reading and writing queries and DML scripts.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with incident management and change control processes in regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a software engineering environment.
• Entry-level or junior software engineering experience or training.
