Senior Project Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

Location: Irving, Texas, in the Dallas–Fort Worth region; on-site project presence is required every day work is being performed.

What you will do

• Represent the company at the project site and establish expectations for safety, quality, housekeeping, and conduct.
• Review design and construction documents for constructability, phasing, temporary protection, logistics, and field risks.
• Develop project-specific safety programs, conduct site orientations, and coordinate safety discussions with trade contractors.
• Plan site logistics, coordinate work plans and progress meetings, and drive the project schedule.
• Coordinate trade contractor activities, overlapping work areas, pre-installation meetings, submittals, and construction methods.
• Maintain punch lists, verify quality expectations, and authorize trade contractor timesheets for extra work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 10 years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent, including multiple projects or one large and complex project typically valued at $40M or more.
• Training in construction management, project management, safety, or communication.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, job cost accounting, site requirements, tools, methods, and materials.
• Ability to lead large groups, manage project risks, solve problems, communicate solutions, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship and sponsorship takeover are not available.

Nice to have

• At least five years leading a large or complex commercial construction project.
• OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or other safety and quality certifications.
