Operations Manager I (Electrical Construction)

Location: Onsite in Oakland, Maine, United States

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year, paid weekly and commensurate with experience.

Electrical construction provider founded in 1920, delivering powerline, commercial, industrial, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high-voltage distribution, maintenance, design-build, pre-construction, prefabrication, and AutoCAD services throughout the Northeastern United States.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day business operations and support ongoing and future construction projects.
• Monitor project financial performance, production, and contractual compliance.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and pursue business growth opportunities.
• Lead, direct, audit, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while promoting employee safety.
• Estimate work and support personnel recruitment and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in the construction or utilities industry may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to develop a strong safety culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and salesmanship skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
