Electrical Engineering Manager

Location: East Syracuse, New York, USA; onsite leadership of the Electrical Engineering team

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, plus a target 10% profit-sharing bonus, 401(k) match up to 8%, and potential sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach electrical engineers across analog, digital, power, and RF design.
• Create individual development plans and support professional engineering and leadership career paths.
• Provide senior technical guidance on precision electronics, signal processing, embedded systems, PCB layout, compliance, and testing.
• Review and approve engineering designs, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Lead hypothesis-driven product discovery, including breadboard MVPs, customer validation, and iteration.
• Drive Scrum or Kanban practices and collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, product, and scientific functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of electronics engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical lead role.
• Hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design, RF design, and/or high-precision measurement.
• Experience taking products from concept through production and maintaining the product lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, plus strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead the Electrical Engineering team in East Syracuse, New York, USA.
