TL;DR
Frontline Engagement Leader (Operations Excellence) (Manufacturing Operations): Implementing and sustaining the Operations Excellence Playbook across multiple commercial baking facilities with an accent on frontline coaching, food safety, workplace safety, and KPI improvement. Focus on leading continuous improvement, enforcing FDA, EPA, OSHA, and HACCP requirements, and supporting a zero-injury workplace across a regional geography.

Location: Dallas, TX, USA; regional role requiring up to 95% travel, flexible scheduling, off shifts, and weekends

Salary: $66,600–$86,600 per year

What you will do

  • Partner with leadership at multiple commercial baking facilities to implement and sustain the Operations Excellence Playbook.
  • Use bakery KPIs to identify actions that improve operational performance.
  • Coach associates at all levels according to the leadership model and company behaviors.
  • Collect feedback and develop solutions for continuous improvement of the Operations Excellence Playbook.
  • Lead efforts toward a zero-injury workplace and support compliance with FDA, EPA, OSHA, and HACCP requirements.
  • Enforce food safety and food quality plans while promoting teamwork, respect, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include business, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, supply chain, operations management, food science, or baking technology.
  • 1–3 years of experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of or interest in manufacturing operations, processing, formulations, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, travel regionally up to 95%, and work off shifts and weekends.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of process control and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience or understanding of a manufacturing environment.
