Senior Production Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Salary: $100,200–$140,300 annually

What you will do

• Lead production department operations and execute the Operations Excellence Playbook.
• Manage annual budgets, capital investments, downtime, damages, and other production costs.
• Develop Team Leaders and Associates through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement with bakery leadership, business unit leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure production meets schedules and orders while achieving targets for people, quality, safety, service, and cost.
• Promote safety programs, product quality, data accuracy, compliance, and problem-solving across the department.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on management experience and direct manufacturing experience in the food industry.
• Extensive knowledge of bakery operations, processing, and formulations.
• Strong technical skills and working knowledge of bakery equipment.
• Knowledge of safety compliance and applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience may be substituted.
• Ability to work onsite in Elkhart, Indiana, USA.
