Founding Product Manager (AI)

Location: New York, New York; on-site five days a week at the Lower East Side office

Base pay: $200,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for a product vertical, prioritize initiatives, and ship continuously.
• Define feature timelines, team goals, scopes, and risk-mitigation plans.
• Help shape product strategy, prioritization methods, documentation, and product culture.
• Partner with AI and machine learning engineers to define and measure quality for agentic legal workflows, including accuracy, reliability, latency, and human-in-the-loop experiences.
• Research the workflows of General Counsels, legal operations leaders, and daily users through customer, sales, and post-sales interactions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Forward-Deployed Engineering, and go-to-market teams; potentially lead enterprise deployments or integrations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, ideally including an early-stage, high-growth startup.
• Demonstrated success shipping and scaling 0-to-1 products with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to earn the trust of strong engineers and manage complex systems and workflows.
• Entrepreneurial experience or a strong track record of succeeding in unstructured environments.
• Empathy, emotional intelligence, and the ability to understand customer needs and behaviors.
• Technical proficiency sufficient to prototype, read pull requests, and evaluate approaches with engineering.
