Senior Electronics Connectivity Design Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Lead electrical connectivity architecture for PCBAs, cables, harnesses, racks, cabinets, and subsystem interconnects in EUV and lithography systems.
• Define module specifications, hardware requirements, interface definitions, design rules, and validation plans.
• Design, review, qualify, and troubleshoot PCBAs for control, monitoring, and communication applications.
• Drive EMC/EMI compliance, signal-integrity, grounding, shielding, filtering, and high-speed interface activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead board-, module-, and system-level failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with architects, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and supplier teams while mentoring junior engineers and supporting technology roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of industry experience in electronic hardware development, including at least 5 years designing PCBAs and electronic modules for demanding applications.
• Experience developing cables, harnesses, racks, enclosures, interconnect systems, schematics, component selections, and design validation activities.
• Hands-on experience with EMC/EMI design, emissions and immunity testing, certification, and standards including IEC, EN, CISPR, FCC, or CE.
• Experience with high-speed digital interfaces, signal-integrity analysis, laboratory equipment, configuration management, and engineering change control.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and multidisciplinary product-development teams; semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, motion control, or precision mechatronics knowledge is preferred.
