Electrical Engineering Manager (Precision Electronics)

Location: Syracuse, NY, USA

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, plus a target profit-sharing bonus of 10% and potential sign-on bonus or relocation reimbursement.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach electrical engineers across analog, digital, power, and RF design.
• Create individual development plans and support professional engineering and leadership career tracks.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance in precision electronics, signal processing, embedded systems, PCB layout, power supplies, and compliance.
• Review and approve engineering designs, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Guide lean, hypothesis-driven product discovery from breadboard MVPs through customer validation and production.
• Drive Scrum or Kanban practices and collaborate across hardware, software, mechanical, and product functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of electronics engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical lead role.
• Hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design, RF design, and/or high-precision measurement.
• Experience taking products from concept through production and maintaining product lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to work in Syracuse, New York, USA.
