Data Center Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Cheyenne, WY, United States; 100% onsite

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead data center technicians responsible for server maintenance, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and daily operations.
• Develop and implement operational best practices to improve efficiency, reliability, uptime, and scalability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support client projects and service delivery.
• Conduct equipment inspections and audits to maintain optimal performance.
• Respond to technical incidents and emergencies, minimizing downtime and disruption.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and support strategic data center initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of data center operations experience, including 2 or more years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of servers, networking equipment, cooling systems, computer hardware, and data center management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including hardware and network diagnosis and repair.
• Proficiency with Linux and experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Cheyenne, meet physical requirements, lift up to 50 lbs, work at elevated locations, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Server+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.
• Additional hands-on or education-based experience with data center infrastructure management.
