Assistant Project Manager, Mechanical & Plumbing (BIM/VDC)

Location: Remote within the United States; US work authorization required

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Coordinate BIM and VDC service delivery for mechanical and plumbing trade contractor clients.
• Serve as the primary coordination point between internal technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, review cycles, resourcing, and project risks across multiple workstreams.
• Run structured syncs, manage client feedback, and resolve modeling and production issues before they become bottlenecks.
• Control scope changes, document change requests, and align pricing and delivery with Client Success or Account Management.
• Lead project debriefs and pilot AI or automation improvements to increase delivery accuracy and reduce manual coordination.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States and have US work authorization.
• At least two years of experience and an associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with construction software and BIM or VDC workflows.
• Ability to translate technical details into clear next steps for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects, deadlines, dependencies, and owners simultaneously.
• Proactive communication, ownership, adaptability, and process-improvement mindset.
