Design-Build Manager (Engineering)

TL;DR

Design-Build Manager (Engineering): Leading the design, delivery, and installation of engineered solutions for industrial and manufacturing clients with an accent on project cost, scope, and schedule management. Location: Hybrid in Cincinnati, OH. Candidates in Greater Chicago or Greater Atlanta regions are also considered.

What you will do

• Lead responses to RFPs and coordinate proposal development between engineering, automation, and project support resources.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers and architects to design industrial solutions that meet client objectives.
• Oversee material procurement, subcontracting, and permitting during pre-construction phases.
• Direct all facets of on-site construction, including HSE (health, safety, environmental) and quality management.
• Manage project costs, schedules, and progress reporting while coordinating with client site personnel.
• Nurture client relationships to identify expansion opportunities and ensure long-term satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in engineering, construction, or related technical services.
• Proven track record of managing project teams and complex client relationships.
• Experience in at least two markets: Agricultural, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Chemical, Consumer Products, or heavy industrial.
• Must be based in or able to work in Cincinnati, OH (or Greater Chicago/Atlanta regions).
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or BIM.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30 certification for general industry and construction.
