What you will do

• Lead the estimating process and ensure proposals meet technical and RFP requirements.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, vendor proposals, subcontractor quotes, and project documentation.
• Develop time, cost, labor, material, equipment, and specialty-item estimates.
• Create project construction plans, level-one schedules, sequencing approaches, crew-size plans, and resource estimates.
• Issue RFPs to vendors and subcontractors and evaluate proposals using commercial and technical comparison metrics.
• Research historical purchasing, subcontract, and productivity data to develop future estimating guidelines.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of progressive experience in gas-powered generation, or at least four years of practical crew-based estimating experience in another construction industry.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques, cost control, and purchase and work scheduling.
• Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid and Microsoft Office.
• Up to 25% travel is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Salesforce, Oracle, and Sisense.
• Experience in renewable energy.
