Estimator II (HVAC)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; choose the work location on Fridays based on business needs.

Salary: $65,300–$117,635 annually, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Review plans and specifications and develop accurate cost estimates for HVAC equipment, materials, subcontractors, labor, services, and construction-related activities.
• Select, price, and integrate equipment, controls, and services for each project.
• Determine project needs, constraints, responsibilities, and HVAC system design and installation requirements.
• Develop and discuss facility-related solutions with Account Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.
• Prepare and review proposals, equipment submittals, and equipment selections.
• Support proposal pricing, selling strategy, project fulfillment schedules, and bid data maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business management preferred, with 3–5 years of experience in estimating, project management, engineering, HVAC, or construction management; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Candidates without a four-year degree may apply if they have relevant practical experience and skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls.
