Graduate Sports Trader

Location: Office-based in Leeds, United Kingdom; remote work is not offered.

What you will do

• Oversee sports events and markets within the UK trading remit using the company technology platform.
• Manage risk and liability for pre-game and live sporting events to support profitability.
• Use predictive models to set lines and approve wagers during live events.
• Collaborate with trading teams to develop models, systems, and strategies that improve the product and customer experience.
• Resolve issues, make trading decisions under pressure, and assist with management reporting.
• Progress toward dynamic in-play trading and increased responsibility as experience grows.

Requirements

• Grade A or B in GCSE Mathematics or an equivalent qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of sports and strong numerical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly, adapt to change, and work with new trading models and technologies.
• Ability to make fast, sound decisions under pressure and work independently or collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work from the Leeds office; remote work is not currently available.
