Algorithmic Trader (Digital Assets)

Location: London or New York; on-site

Salary: $210,000–$240,000 base salary per year for US applicants, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Improve and optimize existing algorithmic trading strategies.
• Research and develop new trading strategies and products.
• Analyze large volumes of market, trading, and transaction data to identify opportunities.
• Build tools and solutions that improve trading performance and decision-making.
• Improve the technology and infrastructure supporting trading systems.
• Monitor performance, respond to changing market conditions, and own projects with direct P&L impact.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills, typically gained through 1–3 years of professional, internship, academic, or personal project experience.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Typically 1–3 years of relevant experience; exceptional recent graduates with relevant internships are also considered.
• Strong trading intuition and a genuine interest in algorithmic, high-frequency, and quantitative trading.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and turn insights into practical solutions.
• Comfort working primarily from the London or New York office.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in crypto, blockchain, or DeFi.
• Background in HFT, quantitative trading, or similar environments.
