IT Manager (Workday Platform)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska, United States; hybrid work is available for associates within 30 miles of an office

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, and develop Workday Operations Engineers and Developers.
• Translate HRIS and Finance requirements into prioritized, resourced technical work.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, governance forums, delivery priorities, and platform trade-offs.
• Oversee incident management, change management, integration support, and release coordination.
• Maintain reliable, secure, and well-governed Workday platform services.
• Improve team processes, delivery practices, platform reliability, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of experience leading technical teams with responsibility for hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience managing relationships with non-technical business stakeholders and negotiating priorities.
• Working knowledge of SaaS delivery models, vendor release cycles, configuration, customization, integrations, and tenant management.
• Experience overseeing incident, change, and release processes for a business-critical platform.
• Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is required.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Workday HCM, Financial Management, Extend, integrations, or reporting.
• Experience partnering with HRIS or Finance/Accounting teams.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITSM practices, ITIL, PMP, or Workday certifications.
