Associate Contracts Manager (Legal Operations)

Location: US Remote

Annual base salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Review incoming customer contracts from Sales against standard terms and risk tolerance.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions with customers where appropriate.
• Escalate agreements outside the decision-making framework and provide clear recommendations.
• Maintain the contract management system and ensure agreements are organized and retrievable.
• Build standardized workflows, templates, playbooks, and decision-making guidelines for scalable contract operations.
• Partner with Legal, Sales, and Finance, support complex agreements, and coach colleagues on contract basics and escalation paths.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk assessment, and negotiation principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions within an established framework, and escalate issues when needed.
• Experience improving processes while balancing customer needs, efficiency, and compliance.
