Collections Representative (Fintech)

Location: Work from home, but must live within 60 minutes or 60 miles of ZIP code 44718 for onsite training and occasional in-person activities. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $22.50 per hour base pay

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with cardholders.
• Bring past-due accounts up to date and establish payment arrangements.
• Counsel cardholders about their financial situations and determine solutions for late payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Manage customer information accurately.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 6 months of customer service experience or equivalent military experience within the last 7 years.
• Live within 60 minutes or 60 miles of ZIP code 44718.
• Have intermediate computer skills, including multitasking across software platforms, typing while speaking with customers, using Microsoft Office, and searching for information.
• Be available for evening hours and at least one weekend day.
• Have a quiet, distraction-free home workspace and be able to work without personal interruptions.
• Be authorized to work in the United States and satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

Nice to have

• Collections, banking, financial services, virtual work, or call center experience.
• Strong customer engagement, objection handling, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Comfort with ongoing feedback, coaching, change, and learning new technologies and processes.
