Bilingual Collections Representative (English/Spanish)

Location: Work from home in the United States, with residence required within 60 minutes or 60 miles of ZIP code 32746 for onsite training and occasional in-person activities.

Salary: $22.50/hour base pay plus a 10% language differential, for total compensation of $24.75/hour.

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with cardholders.
• Bring past-due accounts up to date and set up payment arrangements.
• Counsel cardholders on financial situations and identify reasons for late payments.
• Provide clear resolutions and exceptional customer service.
• Manage customer information and build relationships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have at least 6 months of customer service experience or equivalent military experience within the past 7 years.
• Be fully fluent in English and Spanish.
• Live within 60 minutes or 60 miles of ZIP code 32746 and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have intermediate computer skills, including working across multiple windows and software platforms, typing while speaking with customers, using Microsoft Office, and searching for information.
• Be available for evening hours and at least one weekend day.
• Maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace and complete drug testing, background investigation, fingerprinting, and applicable FDIC Section 19 requirements.

Nice to have

• Collections, banking, financial industry, virtual work, or call center experience.
• Experience engaging customers, handling objections or complaints, and sharing appropriate solutions.
• Strong organization, time management, decision-making, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
