M&Q Financial Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Kiel, Germany; onsite at the Kiel manufacturing site

What you will do

• Oversee monthly closing, including expenses, variances, inventories, CAPEX, and financial performance against the business plan.
• Execute and maintain the site's full suite of Sarbanes-Oxley controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Supervise, develop, and coordinate a team of three financial analysts.
• Partner with site operations on decision-making, risk identification, and special-project evaluation.
• Lead business planning and forecasting for expenses, production capacity, absorption, variances, capital investments, and product standard costs.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Controlling or Finance within a manufacturing company.
• Fluent English and German are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, SAP BW, and relevant financial systems.
• Analytical, presentation, collaboration, and team-management skills.

• Knowledge of product costing.
