Financial Controller (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, with regular collaboration from the Munich office

What you will do

• Deliver complex financial analyses and forward-looking recommendations for senior leadership and operational units.
• Support and challenge business lines to align financial performance with corporate objectives.
• Lead complex controlling projects and initiatives that improve transparency, accountability, and value creation.
• Optimize and stabilize controlling processes, increasing efficiency and data integrity.
• Own planning and reporting cycles and transform financial data into actionable insights.
• Cover a significant part of P&L month-end closing and create complex financial models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration with excellent grades.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in project or business controlling.
• Strong analytical thinking, numerical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience turning complex data into practical insights.
• Adaptable, proactive approach to complex tasks and effective collaboration across business areas.
• Effective communication skills in German and English and the ability to work from Munich.
