Junior Financial Controller

Location: Munich, Bavaria, Germany; hybrid workplace with required presence in the Munich office

What you will do

• Deliver complex financial analyses and forward-looking recommendations for senior leadership and operational units.
• Support and challenge business lines to align financial performance with corporate objectives.
• Lead complex projects and initiatives that improve transparency, accountability, and value creation.
• Optimize and stabilize controlling processes to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Own planning and reporting cycles, including a significant part of the profit and loss month-end closing.
• Create complex financial models and transform data into actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration with excellent grades.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in project or business controlling.
• Strong analytical thinking, numerical aptitude, and experience interpreting complex data.
• Advanced Excel skills and a proven ability to turn complex data into practical insights.
• Adaptable, proactive approach to complex tasks and effective collaboration across business areas.
• Effective communication in German and English is required.
