Senior Recruiter, Engineering - Contractor

Salary: 108,000.00–162,000.00 CAD annual

What you will do

• Own full-lifecycle recruitment for software engineering, site reliability, security, TPM, and product roles across the US and Canada.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership on role scoping, workforce planning, talent gaps, and hiring strategy.
• Build sustainable external and internal talent pipelines supporting diversity, inclusion, and a high-performing engineering culture.
• Develop recruiting KPIs, analyze data, and optimize sourcing, candidate experience, and time-to-hire.
• Use AI and automation to improve sourcing, screening, outreach, and recruiting workflows.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams on custom AI-powered recruiting solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated success recruiting software engineering, infrastructure or DevOps, and security professionals.
• Ability to advise hiring partners on workforce planning, talent-market trends, and long-term recruiting strategy.
• Comfort working with ambiguity, changing priorities, and evolving business needs.
• Experience identifying recruiting automation opportunities and experimenting with AI tools for sourcing and candidate engagement.
• Contract position through staffing partner Magnit.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or high-growth technology.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Gem, or similar recruiting platforms and ATS systems.
• Experience scaling recruiting strategies in geographically distributed organizations.
