Warehouse and Logistics Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY. Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time. Travel to warehouse and data center sites in the US is required as needed.

Annual salary: $405,000–$485,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage daily warehouse operations across North America, including receiving, inspection, storage, cycle counting, kitting, and outbound fulfillment.
• Own inventory accuracy, asset tracking, and chain of custody for infrastructure hardware, compute equipment, spares, and consumables.
• Plan domestic freight and coordinate international shipments, carriers, schedules, and exception resolution.
• Manage third-party logistics providers, warehouses, carriers, and freight forwarders, including service levels, performance, and costs.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with data center operations, hardware engineering, procurement, security, and site readiness teams.
• Build procedures, controls, metrics, reverse-logistics processes, and capacity plans as hardware volumes grow.

Requirements

• Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations for physical goods, including receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipping.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse or inventory management systems and spreadsheet-based inventory and shipment analysis.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers or carriers and holding vendors accountable to service levels.
• Working knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel freight, and related documentation.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for IT or electronic equipment, including lithium battery hazardous-material rules.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience, plus strong communication and process-building skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center or enterprise IT hardware, including servers, GPUs, accelerators, and networking equipment.
• Experience with international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, export controls such as EAR, and secure chain-of-custody programs.
• Experience managing warehouse staff or contract labor, ERP or procurement systems, and lean or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Forklift certification or experience overseeing material-handling equipment operations.
