Full Stack Web Developer (React/Node.js)

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany; hybrid work with office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

What you will do

• Lead development of responsive, high-performance web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Implement user-centered interfaces in collaboration with UX/UI designers.
• Develop and integrate APIs with Node.js, Express, and Nest.js backend services.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and establish engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional web development experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern state management.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Node.js, Express or Nest.js, and REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, Jest, Cypress, web performance optimization, WCAG accessibility, and SEO.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in agile environments.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AWS or GCP, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Interest in current web frameworks, tooling, and performance techniques.
