Senior Engineer, Fullstack, Retail Media/AdTech Solutions (m/f/d)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with the option to work from home anywhere in Germany, with regular team and area anchor days at the office.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize Node.js and TypeScript microservices for performance, modularity, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Build React applications with Next.js, Material-UI, Formik, and JSONSchema validation.
• Integrate MongoDB, Redis, and Algolia for real-time ad delivery and analytics.
• Design reliable distributed messaging and background-processing workflows with BullMQ and RabbitMQ.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics on end-to-end Retail Media features and participate in technical reviews and solution discovery.
• Integrate AI into real systems and ship AI-enabled features.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and modern web technologies.
• Deep experience building scalable microservices and frontend applications in cloud-native environments.
• Commitment to clean, maintainable, efficient, tested code and long-term system health.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience integrating AI into real systems and shipping features with it.
• Ability to work from Germany and attend regular office anchor days.

Nice to have

• Experience with AdTech or Retail Media platforms such as Kevel, Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, or TopSort.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, CircleCI, ArgoCD, or modern ad-serving integrations.
