Head of Group Reporting & Accounting (AI)

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid setup with 3 office days per week

What you will do

• Lead consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under IFRS and statutory reporting for German entities under HGB.
• Prepare consolidated financial statement notes, management reports, and capital-market reporting.
• Lead year-end closing and audit processes and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Own complex IFRS and HGB accounting matters and improve accounting policies, processes, standardisation, and automation.
• Lead the Group Accounting team and Accounting team leads, developing high-performing teams and driving organisational transformation.
• Partner with Technology teams to implement AI-enabled solutions and scalable finance processes supporting international expansion.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in Group Accounting, Financial Reporting, or Audit, ideally in a publicly listed or internationally growing company.
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams and transformation initiatives.
• Experience with consolidation software, ERP systems, and modern reporting solutions; LucaNet and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are preferred.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
