Strategic Sourcing Analyst II (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite presence four days per week at an hirify.global regional office within the M&T footprint; remote work may be considered for candidates with the right experience who are not near a regional hub. Regional offices are located in Buffalo, NY; Boston, MA; Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; Wilmington, DE; New York, NY; Bridgeport, CT; and Burlington, VT.

Salary: $62,200–$103,600 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Lead major strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned spending categories and coordinate executive sponsors and cross-functional project teams.
• Develop and execute RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs based on business needs, market conditions, and corporate standards.
• Evaluate and score supplier proposals, coordinate demonstrations and reference calls, and shortlist vendors.
• Lead contract negotiations with project teams and Legal to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Prepare recommendations covering savings, customer implications, and operational impact for senior management.
• Guide business units through third-party risk tiering, vetting, approval, and procurement trend analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of proven financial or business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience including two years of relevant experience.
• Experience writing Requests for Proposal and negotiating contracts.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management and electronic signature software.
• Proficiency with procurement systems, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience interacting with all levels of management and adhering to risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.
