Procurement Manager (Chemicals)

Location: Hybrid schedule based at hirify.global’s corporate headquarters in Mentor, Ohio, USA; domestic travel as needed, less than 10%

Salary: $127,200–$189,952 per year

What you will do

• Set and implement procurement strategies for the Taylor Adhesive business across North America.
• Lead Project Nova initiatives and strategic procurement plans for assigned categories.
• Leverage collective commodity spend to improve negotiation power, supply security, and total cost of ownership.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct quarterly business reviews to improve performance and accountability.
• Develop long-term sourcing strategies that strengthen competitive advantage and reduce supply base risk.
• Partner with Marketing, R&D, and cross-functional teams to identify sourcing needs, advance sustainability, and introduce innovative suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of purchasing or related experience, including supervisory and leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract development.
• Strong vendor selection, negotiation, business acumen, and digital skills.
• Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex market data to executives.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule from the Mentor, Ohio headquarters.
