Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance assigned by a supervisor.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment, machinery, and facilities using hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose wear or damage in machine parts using measuring equipment.
• Follow OSHA requirements, machine safety practices, and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Organize parts and materials, maintain records, and support special projects.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team members, and other departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps, and related small tools.
• Ability to read basic machine schematics, follow directions, and troubleshoot with limited guidance.
• Ability to safely lift, move, push, pull, carry, and manipulate materials weighing up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds unaccompanied.
