SAP Process Owner with German

Location: Hybrid in Katowice, Poznań, Wrocław, or Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Own end-to-end German payroll delivery and ensure compliance with German payroll, tax, and labour regulations.
• Steer and support operational payroll teams while acting as the main contact for clients, authorities, and external partners.
• Safeguard payroll quality, accuracy, stability, and timeliness.
• Lead payroll implementations, transitions, client onboardings, SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll runs.
• Own and improve payroll templates and local solutions while driving continuous improvement, automation, and quality initiatives.
• Contribute expertise to product and template development and deliver training for internal teams.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, including EC, ECP, and PCC.
• Good understanding of German payroll, tax, and labour legislation.
• Fluent German and English are required.
• Strong ownership, accountability, stakeholder management, and client management skills.
• Ability to explain complex payroll topics clearly and influence without formal authority.
• Structured, proactive, discreet, resilient, and quality-driven approach to sensitive, high-impact work.

Nice to have

• Experience with expat/impat payroll, split payroll, and shadow payroll.
