HR Payroll Time Analyst (German-Speaking, Workday, Life Sciences)

Location: Fully remote from Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end payroll time processes for assigned pay groups within Workday.
• Analyze time data, identify trends and control gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Create recurring and ad hoc reports for business leaders, audits, compliance, and workforce analysis.
• Resolve complex employee and manager inquiries, including retroactive time transactions.
• Develop and execute testing scenarios for UAT, system enhancements, and new feature releases.
• Partner with Payroll and cross-functional teams to improve processes, support Workday Time administration, and deliver projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Payroll and/or Time-to-Pay.
• At least 2 years of experience with German payroll time regulations.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Knowledge of Germany-specific payroll compliance and statutory requirements is required.
• Knowledge of payroll time systems, preferably Workday Time; intermediate Excel skills and strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience with reporting, automation, AI, or data analytics tools.
• Power BI experience.
• Experience with collective agreements and payroll time projects.
