Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst (Demand Planning)

What you will do

• Own demand forecasts for the assigned U.S. and Canada product portfolio across short-, medium-, and long-term planning horizons.
• Lead monthly demand planning cycles and develop statistically and commercially informed forecasts using historical trends, market intelligence, customer dynamics, promotions, and product lifecycle assumptions.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, forecast bias, MAPE, inventory levels, Days of Supply, safety stock, and slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Support inventory strategies, safety stock policies, shortage prevention, excess inventory reduction, and service-level improvements.
• Prepare demand analyses, scenarios, risks, and recommendations for Integrated Business Planning and S&OP reviews.
• Support new product introductions, transitions, phase-outs, analytics automation, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of planning processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree, MBA, APICS certification, or IBF certification is preferred.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, supply planning, S&OP, IBP, or a related function.
• Hands-on experience developing and improving demand forecasts for complex product portfolios.
• Experience with inventory analysis, Days of Supply, safety stock, excess inventory, SLOB, scenario analysis, and integrated business planning.
• Experience with MRP, APS, ERP, and/or demand planning systems, including planning parameters and net requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, JDE, SQL, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, Power BI, or similar planning and analytical tools.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with new product introductions, product lifecycle transitions, advanced forecasting methodologies, and statistical forecasting tools.
• APICS and/or IBF certification.
