Advanced Process Control Lead Engineer

Location: Hybrid work model in Lodz, Poland, at the Monopolis complex; frequent international travel is required.

Salary: PLN 175,500–292,500; performance-related annual bonus of 12%.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of Advanced Process Control projects, including Model Predictive Control and real-time optimization, across global manufacturing sites.
• Define APC strategy, architecture, technology roadmaps, implementation plans, operating models, and governance standards.
• Develop process models and dynamic simulations for robust control strategy design.
• Identify and prioritize APC opportunities with plant operations, Engineering & Process Technology teams, and business units.
• Integrate APC solutions with digital platforms, AI, and advanced analytics in partnership with Data Science and Data Engineering teams.
• Track KPIs and business impact, perform root cause analyses, improve control models, and build internal capability through training, documentation, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Advanced Process Control, DCS integration, and process optimization in the chemical, petrochemical, or specialty chemicals industry.
• 5+ years of experience in project management and digital solution implementation.
• Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Advanced English is required.
• Willingness to travel internationally frequently and work in the hybrid Lodz setup.
