Service Manager (Robotics)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid workplace with travel of up to 50% during peak periods for partner audits, training, and complex issue resolution.

Salary: PLN 25,000–30,000 gross per month under an employment contract (UoP), plus equity.

What you will do

• Create and implement an outsourced service and maintenance system for a growing robot fleet.
• Identify, onboard, and manage external service providers across European locations with the Procurement team.
• Define service scopes, SLAs, KPIs, and cost structures for third-party partners.
• Monitor MTTR, First Time Fix Rate, uptime, and other service metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage the service and maintenance budget, negotiate contracts, and improve cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Software Engineering, Customer Success, Project Management, and external partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical experience in PLC and HMI programming with Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC Unified.
• Additional 5+ years in technical service management, field service engineering, industrial automation, intralogistics, or robotics.
• Hands-on experience with EPLAN and industrial automation components, suppliers, and communication protocols.
• Experience developing and managing outsourced technical service or maintenance operations for complex hardware.
• Expertise in negotiating and managing third-party contracts and Service Level Agreements.
• Excellent English communication skills and readiness to travel up to 50% during peak periods.

Nice to have

• Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT.
