Senior Principal Digital Implementation Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for complex, high-visibility silicon programs from synthesis and netlist through physical implementation, signoff, and tapeout.
• Develop and deploy advanced methodologies to achieve aggressive power, performance, and area objectives.
• Lead investigations into silicon failures, performance limitations, convergence challenges, and methodology issues.
• Collaborate with hirify.global R&D, customers, foundries, partners, and internal engineering teams to identify gaps and influence tool development.
• Establish reusable methodologies and best practices across customers and technology nodes, including AI-accelerated automation.
• Mentor implementation engineers and represent hirify.global in technical discussions, customer engagements, and industry forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant semiconductor engineering experience or equivalent technical achievement.
• Proven tape-out experience on advanced process nodes and experience with complex semiconductor products.
• Experience with leading-edge CPUs, GPUs, AI/ML accelerators, networking devices, or other high-performance SoCs.
• Deep expertise in at least one semiconductor implementation area and broad understanding of the complete SoC development lifecycle.
• Excellent oral and written English and experience leading technical teams are essential.

Nice to have

• Experience with RTL-to-GDSII flows, physical design, timing closure, power analysis, signal integrity, electromigration, physical verification, SoC integration, IP reuse, DTCO, or advanced packaging.
